Do You Have Any Of These Physical Symptoms Of Anxiety?

From time to time, anxiety is commonplace for everyone. Many different things can bring about the onset of anxiety. Many people experience anxiety in a variety of forms.

Sometimes a little anxiety is helpful. Anxiety is our body’s warning system. Anxiety can help you keep your senses keen, and solve problems with little planning. Certain physical symptoms of anxiety can make your life miserable. This is when anxiety becomes a negative. Instead of making progress, we find ourselves backpedaling, when it comes to anxiety. 

What kind of these are happening physically, at the onset of anxiety? Every situation, and person, will experience anxiety differently. Anxiety can feel like our fight or flight response has taken hold. This list is not all-inclusive, but contains many of the physical symptoms of anxiety.

Increased cardiac activity. This is often misinterpreted as cardiac arrest. Sweating profusely, even though the temperature of the skin is very cool. Stained clothing, beneath the armpits, can be one of the most embarrassing situations.S

Many people also experience an uneasy, or upset stomach. Indigestion from increased levels of gastric acid, can be caused by anxiety.

Anxiety can also increase the urge to urinate, or even induce the onset of diarrhea.

Hypoxia (shortness of breath) is also associated with anxiety. A shortness of breath is commonplace when experiencing anxiety.

Inadvertent tremors, ticks, and twitches, are also common symptoms of anxiety. Your body has gone into the involuntary, fight or flight, mode.  Consequently, muscle stiffness, is a common anxiety complaint.

A headache can also be a symptom.

A sense of fatigue can also overcome the body when feeling anxious. Sometimes the body will even experience lethargy, or complete exhaustion.

Insomnia is also common, as the brain is over worked, and highly stimulated.

This list represents the many different, and varied, symptoms that anxiety can induce. You may feel that anxiety has gotten the best of you, but you can triumph over this condition. My hope is that this will help you differentiate between the various symptoms of anxiety, and how best to eliminate them. Remember that anxiety, by design, is the body’s ally. Do not define your anxiety as a disease, physical, or psychological imbalance, as it, in fact, a natural reaction, that can be regulated.
