Learn How To Cope With Stress.
I will not seek to explain what stress really is, we have all been through enough situations where things are not going our way and we just wish we could die. We worry about not having money, being unemployed for long periods, unwanted pregnancies, academic failure, not finding love etc. And when we start worrying we don’t feel good about ourselves, it’s like getting soaked in the rain whilst waiting for something that never comes.
When you’re stressed think of good memories. The past is behind us, forgotten and abandoned as if it never mattered. We lived it with hearts filled with the virgin warmth of an early morning sun and we wished it would never leave us, but it did. Often, when I’m feeling low, I sit alone and trace back my steps through time.
I think of the good times when we travelled on holidays to far away places just to admire an idle piece of nature, I try to remember my first love and how we used to be, I imagine what it was like when I performed live on stage for the first time and the crowd went ballistic and I hold those thoughts and become one with all the emotions that existed. But placing a full face helmet on your past won’t do you any good.
Positive people are hard to find. But if ever you get a positive person in your life you must hold on to such a person and use their positive energy to fill you with joy when you’re feeling sad and low. Despite the fact that thinking of the worst can prepare you for disaster it is unhealthy to always think of negative things. A positive friend will tell you that the facial you’re using is working gradually; tell you to look at the bright side of misfortune and will tell you to keep trying.
But some friends will tell you things that will break you into more pieces than Humpty Dumpty, like you’re wasting time investing in beauty cosmetics. Think of it like this: I don’t care, all I know is I’m going to get that job, someone will get fired on the day I apply.
Stress doesn’t go hand in hand with pressure. What I’m trying to say is that when you’re stressed you mustn’t try too hard. Trying too hard can make you feel worse than before. It doesn’t help to push yourself to do more when your mind is stressed because you won’t do a good job at the end of it all.
When you’re stressed try to take a short rest from work and sort out your issues. Stress somehow depletes your energy reserves to the point where you won’t feel like doing anything. As such you must take a break so that when you get back to work you’re energetic and feeling revived and fresh.
